If there are frequent conflicts between you and your children, you can make use of educational counselling.

The local youth welfare office

Youth welfare office is,

if you live in a city district: the city administration

Note: The city of Constance, which belongs to a district, performs the tasks as the local youth welfare agency itself. The city of Villingen-Schwenningen has handed over the municipal youth welfare office to the Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis as of 01.07.2023.

You feel you can no longer cope with your children.

Procedure

Make an appointment for counselling at the competent office. If possible, arrange it with your child and bring him or her to the appointment. However, you can also come alone.

As a rule, no documents are required for educational counselling. If further support measures are decided during the counselling, the competent office will inform you about the required documents and evidence.
